The Jewish Review, a publication covering Portland, Oregon, will close for business effective January 2012 per www.tja.org.  The Jewish Review is a bi-weekly publication that has been in publication for 40 years.

Wilmington Dialog to Close in Fall of 2011

The Catholic Diocese of Wilmington has announced that the Dialog, a weekly Catholic publication, will cease publishing effective the fall of 2011 as a cost cutting measure.  The Dialog has been distributing since 1965, reaches approximately 55,000 households in the Wilmington area.

Catholic Standard & Times Converts to Monthly

The Catholic Standard and Times, the official paper of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will be converting to monthly distribution per David O'Reilly of the Philadelphia Inquirer.  The Standard and Times has been a weekly publication for the past 116 years, but the paid distribution has dropped to 31,000, necessitating the change.

Episcopalian Publications Close

The Episcopal Church has announced that it will cease publishing the Episcopal News Monthly and the Episcopal News Quarterly effective January 2011.  The two publications have a combined distribution of approximately 100,000.  The last editions of both publications will be completed shortly before Christmas.

Presbyterian Voice Ends Print Edition

 
The Presbyterian Voice, a publication about and for the Presbyterian church and the Synod of Living Waters, will cease publication of its printed edition after the first week of March 2011.  The Voice cited the hard economic times combined with the cost of printing versus the ease of electronic delivery as being the primary reasons.
 
The Voice will continue on with its online edition.

Montreal Catholic Times Ceases Publishing

The Montreal Catholic Times will cease publishing immediately due to a cut in funding, per editor Eric Durocher. The Catholic Times is the only English-speaking Catholic publication in Montreal.  The Catholic Times recently had its operating budget cut in half after losing $30,000 in funding.  If the situation is not remedied, the Catholic Times will remain closed.
